Our Workshops Explained

AS actors we are lucky to have the privilege of actively using language for a living. We look at:? WORD CHOICE of a given text.? SYNTAX and context to pick up any clues as to character or meaning. UNDERSTANDING characters? intentions/objectives, tactics to get what they want and obstacles they face. BUT, we are not the only people who should be in this exceptional position. Using our imaginations, voices, and bodies in our workshops, children will begin to look at language as an actor does, by not only understanding the text, but by doing as well.
